Operation Puerto Rico

Recently,

We traveled to the island of Puerto Rico. This was a preliminary visit in preparation for our evangelistic crusade in July. The goal was to build relationships with leaders of the communities there and focus on the need and share our mission. Our hearts swelled with a mix of humility and hope as we had the privilege of connecting with some truly remarkable individuals, and listening to the stories of those facing hardship.

In Vega Alta, we met Pastor Mario Zambrana, a spirit filled man of God with a real heart for the people. One Sunday during our visit, we attended his church. There was a special service for men & women prisoners, some with a maximum of 200 year sentences. The prisoners were a part of an arts program and put on a play during service about the end times, that was powerful and impactful. Men & women prisoners shared testimonies of how God miraculously reduced their sentences and changed their lives while incarcerated. Some of them are even pastors now. All had something encouraging to say.

The Puerto Rican people are very resilient people and it shines through even in difficult circumstances, which left an indelible mark on our souls. This initial visit only strengthened our conviction, and we eagerly anticipate returning in July 2025, ready to share a message of faith and hope with the communities We’ve already begun to care for deeply.

Please help support our mission.
